How It Works
1
Request a Mediation
Use the form below or call 289-700-1530. I reply to mediation requests the same day. In a Tarion claim, ask your Tarion representative for me by name.
2
Agreement and Review
Each party signs a mediation agreement and sends me their documents. I review the full file and every disputed item before the session.
3
The Mediation Session
We meet on Zoom. As a neutral mediator, I help the parties work through each disputed item toward an agreement they both accept.

Your Mediator

Babar Mirza, P.Eng.
Construction disputes usually turn on technical questions: what caused a leak, whether the work meets the contract and the Building Code, and what a reasonable repair involves. With over 14 years managing complex facilities and capital projects, I understand these questions and help the parties work through them.
Before a mediation, I review every disputed item on file to maximize the chance of a successful resolution. Each party can also share information with me privately.
I'm neutral. I don't represent or advise any party in a dispute I mediate.
